UPDATE: Three people killed in early morning house fire identified

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The three people killed in an early morning house fire over the weekend have been identified.

Fire crews were called to the home in the 9200 block of Wheelock Road at about 2:00 a.m., Saturday. Once on the scene, crews found the two-story home fully engulfed.

Three people died as a result of injuries sustained in the house fire.  Larry Shaw, 46, and Elijah Shaw, 12, were pronounced deceased on the scene. Amber Shaw, 43, was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

The fire took almost two hours to bring under control.

This incident remains under investigation by the Fire Arson Specialized Team of Allen County and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
