UPDATE: Victims Identified in Paulding Co. Plane Crash

GROVER HILL, Ohio (WOWO): The three victims that died in a small plane crash in Paulding County, Ohio have been identified.

The plane went down in an open field near Wayne Trace High School, shortly after 6 p.m. on Thursday.

According to our partners in news at 21Alive, 59-year-old Dr. Michael McCarty from Grand Island, Nebraska was the pilot of the aircraft. The passengers included 65-year-old Wayne Weiss, and his wife, 62-year-old Rosalee Weiss, also from Nebraska.

All three were long-time friends and experienced pilots.
