ALLEN COUNTY, Ind (WOWO): The Allen County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home invasion incident on Lafayette Center Road near the Allen-Huntington County line just after 11:30 on Saturday morning.

The man who owns the home was inside when a black male entered the home and shot the victim in the abdomen.  The suspect then got in a vehicle and left the scene.  The victim, 65-year-old Robert W. Kanyuh was taken to the hospital in serious condition and later died from his wounds.  

No other description was given for the suspect or the vehicle.  It is unclear if anything was taken or what the motive was at this time.  This incident is still being investigated by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
