Victim in New Haven Crash, Identified

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): The man killed Wednesday night in New Haven after a single vehicle crash has been identified.


According to the Allen County Coroner, 55-year-old Roger Halsey of Fort Wayne, died at the hospital just after 7:00 p.m., Wednesday evening. He was taken to the hospital after the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m., on Adams Center Road near Moeller Road.


The coroner has ruled that his death was from natural causes. He suffered a medical event prior to the crash and he did not sustain fatal injuries.


Halsey was traveling on Adams Center when he crossed the center line and hit a utility pole. The pole was snapped in half and power was knocked out in the area.
