Russel Jewel, of Fort Wayne, is the city’s 20th homicide victim this year. He was shot last night Southwest of downtown Fort Wayne. Police say they were originally called to the scene for a domestic battery case just before 10:30 P.M., but the shooting happened before they could arrive. The shooter was also injured. Police continue to investigate the incident.
