VITA Program Helps Residents File Taxes

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – United Way of Allen County’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program has returned.

VITA offers free tax help for residents with an income under $69,000.

IRS-certified volunteers help residents claim credits they are eligible for while helping them file their taxes and answering any questions they may have.

The program will run through April 8, 2026.

Drop-off locations are available in DeKalb, Noble and Steuben counties.
