FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man was arrested after locking himself in a Wal-Mart gas station bathroom.

Jeffery Stephen Woods Jr., 26, was preliminary charged with theft, according to 21Alive.

At about 3 p.m. Tuesday, police got a call of a strong armed robbery taking place at the Southtown Crossing Wal-Mart. Woods was also reportedly breaking into vehicles in the Wal-Mart parking lot.

By the time police arrived, Woods had barricaded himself inside the outdoor restroom at the gas station. An employee gave officers a key. Then the officers opened the door and arrested Woods.

Police found a cell phone and Samsung tablet in the trash can of the restroom and three empty prescription containers. An e-cigarette vape pen was found in the plunger, and two Kroger Plus keychain cards were discovered on top of a cabinet.

Woods was also sweating profusely when he was arrested and was checked by an ambulance after admitting he injected heroin about a half hour before his arrest.
