Wanted Fremont man arrested after visiting local business

ASHLEY, Ind. (WOWO) – A wanted Fremont man is now in custody after a traffic stop Wednesday morning, according to our partners in news at ABC 21.

Nicholas Garr, 40, was wanted for three failure to appear warrants alleging dealing methamphetamine between 1 and 5 grams, dealing methamphetamine, and battery with moderate bodily injury.

The Ashley Police Department spotted Garr at a business in the 100 block of East State Street just after midnight Wednesday.

Garr left the business and turned south onto I-69. Police were then able to conduct a traffic stop and take him into custody.
