Wanted man for Thanksgiving triple homicide has been arrested

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Early Sunday morning around 12:45 a.m. Detectives from The Fort Wayne Police Department’s Homicide Division, Gang & Violent Crimes Unit and a USMS Task Force Officer arrested 22-year-old Gerald Pinkston in connection with the triple homicide on Thanksgiving night.

After a long investigation detectives were able to determine that Pinkston was at a house located on the 300 block of Dunbar Lane. Officers surrounded the house and ordered him out which he refused at first.  After deploying a distraction device, Pinkston exited the home.  He was taken into custody and taken to the Allen County Lockup where he is being charged with three counts of murder and one count of domestic battery.

On Thanksgiving night, Gerald Pinkston along with Cameron Joyner allegedly shot five people, killing three and injuring two at a home on the 6100 block of Downington Drive.
