KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Police in Kosciusko County have a Warsaw man for allegedly battering a 2-year-old child.  Authorities were contacted yesterday afternoon by the emergency room at Kosciusko Community Hospital regarding a child that had been brought in with multiple injuries.  Officers spoke with the mother of the child which eventually led them to her boyfriend, 24-year-old Bradley Waikel.

Waikel was questioned and subsequently arrested and charged with felony neglect of a dependent resulting/causing serious bodily injury as well as felony battery of a child under the age of 14.  The 2-year-old boy was transferred to Riley’s Children’s Hospital, suffering from multiple bruises and a skull fracture.  Waikel is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
