ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Tomorrow afternoon, at 3:00 p.m. a Washington Township Fire Department firefighter will be remembered.

On November 11, 2012, the Washington Township Fire Department lost firefighter Mark Haudenschild II in the line of duty.

Tomorrow’s memorial at the Law Enforcement/Firefighters Memorial of Allen County is not the formal memorial, but FWFD Captain and a Memorial Board Member Denny Giere says,

“While the formal Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service ceremony will be October 12, tomorrow's informal activities are the initial steps to pay tribute to Mark's legacy.  These chosen letters will memorialize and symbolically commemorate the service and sacrifice of Mark and should be chosen by his family and loved ones who knew Mark best.” 

After the letters are chosen, the molds will be cut.
