WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The former Whitley County Auditor plead guilty on Friday to embezzling more than $100,000.

According to our Partners in News at 21Alive, Jennifer McGuire traded in her former “not guilty” plea, to guilty. The plea comes after McGuire agreed to pay back the embezzled money, which she did on Friday.

McGuire could also receive a maximum of 11 years in prison due to the felony charges including Class E embezzlement and Class B theft and official misconduct.

McGuire will be sentenced on February 9th.
