STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect for LaGrange and Steuben Counties starting at 10 a.m. Thursday. The advisories will remain in effect through 4 p.m. Friday.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Geoffrey Heidelberger tells WOWO News parts of northern Indiana can expect up to four inches of snow, while everyone to the south should get less.

“The farther away you go from the lake, we are not expecting as much, so for Fort Wayne, maybe up to about an inch (of snow) probably less though.”
Heidelberger also points out that this cycle of lake effect snow in northern Indiana, is NOT part of a larger weather pattern. However, some drifting snow is possible at times and reduced visibility can be expected.
