RICHMOND, Ind. (WOWO) — A Richmond Indiana woman who requested an ambulance ride to the hospital ended up stealing the vehicle, leading to a police chase that ended with her back in jail.
Police say Amanda Kirkendall, 43, stole the ambulance after it arrived to assist her, leading officers on a pursuit that ended at a local hospital.
She is now facing charges of auto theft and resisting law enforcement.
Her initial court hearing is set for September 3rd.
