FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) _One person is dead, one wounded after a pair of shootings that Fort Wayne police believe are connected. According to a press release from the Fort Wayne Police Department, it started with a call to police at 3:18 this morning at an “afterhours” club in the 3000 block of Maumee Avenue. Officers found a woman who had been shot lying outside the club; she was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

A short time later, another shooting victim – a male – was driven to a different hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and in serious condition. Police think both shootings are related to a fight that broke out at the club.
