FISHERS, Ind. (AP) _ Construction work is set to start next spring on a project to add lanes to a busy section of Interstate 69 north of Indianapolis.

The Indiana Department of Transportation says a third lane will be added to both the highway's northbound and southbound lanes for about 15 miles from the Indiana 37 interchange in Fishers to the Indiana 38 interchange near Pendleton. 

The work will be done under an $85 million contract and is expected to take two years to complete. The project includes redesigning the Campus Parkway interchange in Noblesville near the Klipsch Music Center amphitheater.

The Indianapolis Star reports (http://indy.st/1YdDSzj) a separate $34 million project in the busy corridor will begin next spring on building a new I-69 interchange at 106th Street in Fishers.
