WOWO Exclusive: Mayor Says Ash Project Partner Could be Picked in January

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Ash Skyline Plaza continues to shape. Crews are working on a 1,200 space parking garage. Construction on the building is set to get underway in April. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, the city is finalizing a new partner for the residential portion of the project.

Mayor Tom Henry says they are close to naming who that partner will be. Wednesday, Henry told WOWO, they could have that firm selected as early next year.

“Probably by the middle of January we'll make the announcement,” Henry said.

Henry says six developers from around the region submitted proposals. They've narrowed potential developers to three.
