FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — A 16-year-old is in custody after Fort Wayne police discovered a disturbing stockpile of weapons.

Search warrants turned up an AR pistol, handguns, high-capacity magazines, conversion kits, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

The Gang and Violent Crimes Unit says this bust is part of an ongoing effort to crack down on youth violence.

The teen’s identity and circumstances of the investigation haven’t been released.
