EDINBURGH, Ind. (WOWO) — The Indiana Army National Guard just pulled off a military first – 3D printing from a Black Hawk helicopter while in flight.

The airborne breakthrough happened at Camp Atterbury and proved that even precision drone parts can be printed mid-air.

Military leaders say this tech could reshape battlefield logistics, letting troops skip long supply chains and crank out critical components during missions.
