Saturday night, the Angola Fire Department responded to a house fire at 60 Ln 100B Lake Charles in East Angola.

Once crews arrived on the scene, they found a one story ranch style home fully engulfed in flames. Due to the amount of flames, fire crews had to use a defensive attack and all the work was done from the outside.

No injuries were reported, but the house did sustain $100,000.00 in damages.

As of right now, firefighters are labeling the cause of this fire as “suspicious,” and are still investigating.
