11-Year-Old Recovering From Fireworks Incident

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO) – A young boy is still recovering after suffering a severe hand injury on the 4th of July.

Riley Children’s Health says 11-year-old Jason Swopshire is being treated at the burn unit due to a fireworks-related injury. 

Swopshire has had surgery to repair his hand, though the hospital says he will need additional procedures and therapy in order to use his hand normally again.
