LARWILL, Ind. (WOWO): A man who was helping with the Whitko Middle School girls soccer club has been arrested on a charge of sexual misconduct with a minor.

According to court documents, 20 year-old Jonathan David Crosson of Larwill had sex at least three times with a 14-year-old girl who was a part of the soccer club. 

A Whitley County Sheriff’s officer and Department of Child Protective Services investigator spoke with the victim who stated Crosson was her assistant soccer coach and that their relationship started with the two of them going to his church together. 

The victim told them they had sex at his house, at her house and at Sidney Cemetary in Kosciusko County. 

A parent volunteer that helps organize the club soccer’s game schedule and manage the team says Crosson was a friend of one of the coaches and volunteered help, but was not hired by the club.
