Two arrested after a traffic stop

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A traffic violation lead to the arrest of two men for carrying handguns without licenses.

Convicted felons, Brandon Martin and Grant Bause were in a vehicle that was stopped by officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department at E Coliseum Blvd and Campus Drive on March, 21, in regards to a traffic violation.

During the traffic stop, police say they saw a loaded handgun with an extended high capacity magazine on the floorboard of the front passenger area, where Martin had been sitting, as well as a loaded Glock with an extended high capacity magazine on the left rear passenger floorboard area, where Bause had been sitting. Police say they also found a small amount of marijuana, paraphernalia with marijuana residue and illegal prescription pills.

Martin and Bause are both facing a charge of carrying a handgun without a license and are being held without bail due to them being on probation. The driver was given multiple tickets then allowed to leave.
