“The Treasurer’s Office would like to remind taxpayers that property tax bills are due May 11, just 10 days way.” says Chief Deputy Treasurer William Royce. Tax bills were mailed back on April 10th and the due date is fast approaching.

If you wait until the due date to pay and you pay in the Treasurer’s Office, be prepared to wait.

“Expect a long line if you wait until the last day to pay” Royce warns, “We’re always very busy on the due date.”

Paying in the Treasurer’s office is not your only option. There are several online payment methods including paying by check or credit card online, paying by check over the phone, mailing in payment and various pay plans.
