ANDERSON, Ind. (WOWO) — An Anderson man has been arrested for allegedly selling drugs to a man who later died from an overdose.
Jason Pitts, 26, was charged with dealing in a controlled substance resulting in death after 21-year-old Elijah Owens died from an overdose.
Owens had consumed four Percocet pills and alcohol before his death, with his blood testing positive for Fentanyl.
Pitts initially denied providing drugs to Owens but later admitted to giving him some.
Pitts was taken into custody on March 27, and his initial hearing was scheduled for Thursday in Madison County.
