Barricaded Suspect Makes Threats

FORT WAYNE, Ind (WOWO): After a man with a knife started making threats, police and a SWAT team responded to a West State Boulevard home.

Police worked for almost an hour Saturday night to make contact with the people inside the home that were being threatened by the suspect. They finally got everyone out of the home safely and took the suspect to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation. 

At this time, there are charges, and all of the other occupants who were inside the home were released by police.
