FORT WAYNE, Ind (WOWO): Early this morning just after 3:00 a.m., Fort Wayne police got a call to the area of E. Lewis St. and S. Hanna St. on a report of a man being shot.  

Once officers arrived the found the man lying in the parking lot of the American Legion, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

According to police, the victim had gotten into an argument inside the American Legion earlier in the evening. A short time later, the victim left the bar and was shot as he was standing next to a vehicle.

There are currently no suspects at this time, but detectives continue to search the area and are interviewing witnesses.
