INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Classes are set to resume at an Indianapolis school whose principal was struck and killed by a bus while pushing students to safety.

The Lawrence Township Schools says classes at Amy Beverland Elementary School will resume Monday.

Authorities say 69-year-old Susan Jordan was killed Tuesday when a school bus suddenly lurched forward outside the school as classes let out for the day.

The school said on its website that when students return, counseling will be made available to them, as well as staff members.

Authorities say buses were lined up outside the school when Jordan and two 10-year-old students were struck. The students suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses told firefighters they saw Jordan push several students out of the way before she was hit.
