Coats Statement on Governor’s Pick for IN Republican Party Chairman

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO):  Today Senator Dan Coats issued the following statement regarding Governor Mike Pence’s announcement today that he has nominated Tim Berry of <st1:city w_st=”on”>Fort Wayne to serve as the next Indiana Republican Party Chairman and Misty Hollis of Richmond to be the Vice Chair:

“Governor Pence made an excellent choice selecting my fellow Fort Wayne Republican, Tim Berry, to serve as the state party’s next chairman. From <st1:place w_st=”on”>Allen County treasurer to state treasurer and state auditor, Tim has experience serving Hoosiers statewide and has proven to be a well-respected leader committed to fiscally conservative principles. I am also pleased with the governor’s decision to nominate Misty Hollis to be vice chair for the party. The <st1:state w_st=”on”>Indiana Republican Party will continue to thrive and be the party of ideas and purpose under the leadership of Tim Berry and Misty Hollis.”
