Complaints Filed Against Fort Wayne Abortion Doctor

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Today, complaints were filed with the Indiana Attorney General's office and the Indiana Medical Licensing Board over Fort Wayne abortion doctor Ulrich Klopfer. This comes after Dr. Klopfer failed to report an abortion on a 13-year-old, as required by state law.  Executive Director of the Allen County Right to Life Cathie Humbarger reviewed public pregnancy reports that showed the 13-year-old had an abortion performed by the doctor on February 7.  The Indiana Department of Health reported receiving the report on July 25, over 5 months after the abortion.  State law requires a physician performing an abortion on a patient less than 14 years old to file a state-issued form within 3 days of the abortion with the state department of health and the department of child services. Failure to do so is punishable with a Class B misdemeanor.
