INDIANAPOLIS, IND. (WOWO) A Continental woman was killed Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Paulding County, Ohio, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Crash details
The crash occurred around 2:12 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 637 and County Road 138 in Jackson Township, Paulding County.
According to the Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 20-year-old Sara Woolbright was driving a 2002 Volkswagen Beetle westbound on County Road 138. She stopped at a posted stop sign before pulling into the path of a northbound 2025 Ford F-750 driven by 40-year-old Brian Robinson of Defiance, Ohio.
Fatality and other occupants
Woolbright was pronounced dead at the scene. Robinson and his passenger, 64-year-old Ronald Sanholtz of Liberty Center, Ohio, were not injured.
The vehicles ran off the west side of State Route 637 and struck a guard rail after the collision.
Investigation and assistance
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, Paulding Fire and EMS, and Gideons Towing and Recovery.
Troopers said drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be factors in the crash. No charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
