County to Consider Tax Breaks for Local Company

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A local company is planning is planning an $11 million investment and asking Allen County Council for tax relief.

D&W Fine Pack has filed a request for tax-phase ins. According to a News-Sentinel report, the company will add new equipment to the property on Vicksburg Pike. The plan also includes as many as 17 new job and other temporary positions.

The company stands to save about $325,000 in taxes over ten years if approved.

D&W Fine Pack makes food containers and employs about 350 people locally.
