Crawfordsville Teen Killed in Rollover Crash

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (AP) – Authorities say a 17-year-old Crawfordsville boy was killed and two others were injured in a rollover crash.

Montgomery County deputies say Tyler Reeves was driving about 1 p.m. Friday, the first day of spring break, when his car left the road and flipped several times. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

Two other 17-year-old boys riding in Reeve's vehicle were taken to the hospital. WLFI-TV (http://bit.ly/1DakISm ) reports they're expected to recover.

Reeves was a junior at Crawfordsville High School. He played both baseball and football.

Superintendent Scott Bowling says baseball coach John Froedge and local pastors met Friday afternoon with the baseball team, which is scheduled to leave Wednesday for a trip to Tennessee.

He says the school plans to provide counseling to grieving students.
