Criminal Charges Filed Against Driver in 2012 Fatal Semi Crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A dozen criminal charges have been filed against semi driver, Gary Golay of Mansfield, Ohio. Prosecutors say he ran into four vehicles, killing a little girl and injuring five others.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, the charges were filed Wednesday in Allen County. Golay now faces charges of reckless homicide, involuntary manslaughter and at least ten other counts from the crash that happened on US 30 and Kroemer Road back in July of 2012.

Police say the four vehicles were stopped at a traffic light when Golay failed to stop. He then slammed his semi into the back of the vehicles, killing 4-year-old Abigail Little of Albion.
