FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An apartment fire on the city's south side at Brendonwood Park Apartments at 4:45 A.M. on Fayette Drive. 21 Alive's Jeff Bowman is on the scene and says “It's a single story apartment building. One apartment was gutted by fire. They had to break out the windows on the apartment on either side of it to ventilate it and to make sure there was no spreading of the fire there. A total of three families are out on the street right now…They're already moving to make sure get these families some place to stay.”
