FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — Fort Wayne city offices will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

There also will be no residential garbage or recycling collection on Labor Day.

Collection will be delayed by one day for the entire week, meaning residents should put their trash and recycling out one day later than usual.

City offices will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, September 8.
