The Fort Wayne Police Department is searching for a missing 12-year-old.

A Public Safety Alert was sent out around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday in search of 12-year-old Shamya Taylor.

She is described as black, 5 feet 3 inches tall and around 155 pounds

She was last seen in a multi-colored head scarf with a pink shirt and coat and gray joggers.

She was last located in the area of 2220 Dunkelberg Road.
