UPDATE: One Arrested, One At Large After Glenbrook Square Mall Shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – The Fort Wayne Police Department has responded to Glenbrook Square Mall on a report of a shooting.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, the incident has prompted the closure of the mall as authorities work to assess the situation.

UPDATE:

Fort Wayne Police Department say they responded to a shooting at Glenbrook Square Mall around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

So far investigators say that a shooting happened inside the mall and is believed that two men were armed in the food court. That’s when one of the men began shooting.

Two people were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police says 22-year-old Brandon D. Key, Jr. has been arrested on charges of criminal recklessness, intimidation, and resisting law enforcement.

The shooting suspect remains on the loose.
