Governor Pence Directs Flags be Flown at Half-staff on Sunday

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): In accordance with a presidential proclamation, Governor Mike Pence is directing that all flags at state facilities across Indiana be flown at half-staff Sunday, October 12th in honor of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service. Flags should be lowered at sunrise and remain at half-staff until sunset.

 

Governor Pence is also asking businesses and residents across the state to lower their flags to half-staff to pay tribute to firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
