Hartford City Man Jumps Into White River To Avoid Arrest

ANDERSON, Ind. (WOWO) — The man, identified as 30-year-old Sebastian Southerland, led police on a chase through Chesterfield and into Anderson before jumping into the river.

Southerland was rescued by the Anderson Fire Department and taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

He faces multiple charges, including resisting arrest, reckless driving, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
