Healthy Indiana Plan Hearings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Two public hearings are scheduled for this week to talk about Governor Mike Pence's proposal to use Medicaid funds to expand the Healthy Indiana Plan. The plan would provide insurance to people with no coverage.


The hearings take place Wednesday and Thursday in Indianapolis. Also, the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center will host a Healthy Indiana Plan Community Conversation on Thursday morning at 11:30, featuring the State Health Commissioner and the Governor’s Health Policy Advisor. It takes place at in the Education Center on Holy Cross Parkway in Mishawaka. The event is open to the public.
