It’s National Voter Registration Day

NATIONWIDE, (WOWO) – Are you registered to vote?

It’s National Voter Registration Day, which is celebrated on the fourth Tuesday of every September.

If you’ve recently gotten married, moved or turned 18, it’s a good time to make sure you’re registered to vote with your current information.

Registering to vote is easy and only requires a valid driver’s license or state identification card. You must be a citizen of the United States, be at least 18 years old on or before the next election, have lived in your precinct for at least 30 days before the election, and must not be currently imprison after being convicted for a crime.

To register, visit indianavoters.in.gov or nationalvoterregistrationday.org.
