Local Gas Prices Drop Below National Average

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Feeling the relief at the pump? Well, you should, because gas prices have dropped 14 cents/gallon in the last week, averaging $3.24/gallon yesterday. That number puts us below the national average, which stands at $3.27/gallon. Patrick DeHaan with www.gasbuddy.com says that it's likely this week that we will see gas prices nationally drop below their levels a year ago. But, as we approach February, prices will increase as refineries begin their maintenance season.
