Man Attempts Escape from Allen County Courthouse

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – A man tried to escape police custody yesterday after appearing in an Allen County courtroom.  Twenty-two-year-old Austin Otolski went before a judge and was ordered to be held in custody.  After leaving the courtroom, Otolski, still in handcuffs, ran away from an An Allen County deputy who ordered the prisoner to stop.  Police say he ignored the order and a tazer was used to subdue him.  


Otolski was again apprehended and now faces a felony charge of escape, in addition to his original charge of sexual misconduct with a minor.
