Man Sentenced for Robbery, Beaten of WWII Vet

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (AP) — A central Indiana man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for the home invasion beating of a 94-year-old World War Two veteran.

WRTV reports 27-year-old Justin Lawson was also sentenced Friday to two years of house arrest.

He pleaded guilty in April to robbery and burglary in the October 9th attack on Herschel Moore in his Hamilton County home about 20 miles north of Indianapolis.
