FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — The Fort Wayne Police Department received a call and went to the area near Coliseum Boulevard and E Washington Boulevard, just west of New Haven.

According to a press release from FWPD, officers rushed to the 4700 block of E. Washington Boulevard in response to the medical emergency.

The affected officer was then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
