Marketing Firm Announces North American Headquarters In Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana has attracted a marketing firm to base their North American Headquarters in Indianapolis.

The cloud-based e-marketing company Emarsys said they will locate operations by 2020, creating 167 new high-wage jobs. “The appeal of Indianapolis, which has already been dubbed ‘Midwest’s Silicon Valley,’ is evident,” said Ohad Hecht, chief operating officer of Emarsys.

The Vienna, Austria-based company will invest $3.2 million to lease and renovate 15,000 square feet of office space located in the Market Tower. The first launch will happen in May, with construction continuing into it's full offices.

Emarsys clients including eBay, Toys “R” Us, Yahoo and Volvo. The company currnently employs more than 450 associates at 13 locations around the world. Of its current 25-member team in the United States, more than 80 percent are located in Indiana.
