Marshall County Woman Dies in Car-Deer Collision


LaPAZ, Ind. (AP): Police say a woman whose car collided with a deer along a highway died from injuries she suffered when her car crashed after that impact.
State Police say 62-year-old Mary E. Durlin of Bremen died Friday evening after her car left the roadway and crashed following the collision with the deer. That crash occurred along U.S. 6 near the Marshall County town of LaPaz, about 15 miles south of South Bend.
Two small children who were in car seats in the rear passenger seats were not injured in the crash.
