FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry has officially filed to run for a fourth term.

Mayor Henry announced he’s running for re-election at a press conference Tuesday.

If re-elected, he says his administration will focus on public safety, neighborhood improvements, good stewardship of taxpayer money, and a continuation of the economic prosperity the City has enjoyed during his previous terms in office.

Mayor Henry also said that while everyone can celebrate the momentum of the city’s revitalized downtown, he is constantly keeping a pulse on the needs and wants of residents.

“We can’t stop and be satisfied with what we’ve accomplished,” said Mayor Henry in a press release. “It’s simply not an option. By working together we can make Fort Wayne the best it can be. And while brick and mortar projects may be essential to our economic development, it is our citizens and neighborhoods that make this community a great place to call home.”
