COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (WOWO) — Members of the Air National Guard and the Army National Guard visited Columbia City High School on Monday for Military Appreciation Day.

They showcased a Blackhawk helicopter that landed on the school grounds.

Around fifty students had the opportunity to explore National Guard career options.

The event was part of Whitley County Consolidated Schools’ efforts to connect students with post-high school career opportunities.
